Born in Los Angeles, California and raised in Queens, New York, he hopes to move to North Dakota to offset his coastal bias. His work uses an eclectic collage style to explore concepts found in absurdism, surrealism, and Pataphysics. In his free time, Malik enjoys listening to podcasts, harboring a vendetta against dolphins, and looking both ways when crossing the street.
